Can someone help me cheat?

Postby BouncyCreeper » Wed Oct 05, 2016 2:03 am

I was playing this game with my friends. I was enjoying it quite a bit, and i went to the bathroom. My brother was sitting there, and decided to DROWN MY CHARACTER. I spent 8 hours getting to my friends, and i don't want to do it again.
Is there any way to teleport to them, cheat for my skills, or just recover my character?

Thx.

-P.S. If you don't want me to cheat, I DON'T CARE. I JUST WANT MY CHARACTER BACK.

In case he drowned: it's gone and noone can or will restore it. There is no cheating.

Should you want to play with your friends with a new character: let them build a Wilderness Beacon and activate it, then spawn a new character and enter the name they set on the beacon at the skull pole in the starting area.

Should you have build a Hearth Fire at your friends location and it is still intact (=not destroyed or lit) you can spawn a new character and inherit from the old character (in the starting room, inside the fenced area), then you'll spawn at that fire.

If your friends know where you died and recover the body from the water they can get your stuff back and be able to bury you to get some of your skills back. Although Irrc you only have about a day before your body will decay and if it is in the water you probably will lose the skeleton/skull and your gear.

Devs never give characters back.
Though I think they should in cases where some big bug is blatantly abused such as walljumping.

There's been a few situations, but this definitely is not one of them. haven is the type of game you should never idle afk. Even if someone locally doesn't screw with things, someone will eventually walk along and kill you just for the lulz.

Or trying to produce steel in unclaimed land.

I've logged into a bear before... Unpleasant experience. No, I was referring to random wandering players. Most will usually ignore you or keep their distance, but there's just enough out there that will kill you on the spot.
