Village claim inside a mine and charter stone.

I know that you can have a village claim above ground and then extend the village underground if you place a banner directly under the claimed area above.
But does the opposite works? Can I have the village claim underground and place a banner above ground?
I think i messed up, won't know till claim is usable, i have built my village claim itself underground, didn't know then that I couldn't place a charter stone underground, you'd think
that it would be something important to mention in wiki.

I assumed you can't build Village Idols underground. Can you build porticulum?

I don't know if you can build portico underground but anyways it's a charter stone i need to build in new place.
But it may have been a mistake to build the idol underground, as I can't build a charter stone there, not sure what to do, or if banners can be placed above the
village idol outside of mine. If not it means i will have to destroy the village idol :( if it can be done and build a new one

Interesting .. I thought that building idols underground had been removed, I'm sure I read something about it ... but maybe not, will be interested to see if the banners work in reverse.

But yeah, that's a shame from your point of view after already building the idol. :(

You cannot extend from a lower level to above, only from above to below. Yes, it was indeed a mistake to build your idol underground if you wanted to extend it above ground. Just count yourself lucky you didn't waste the materials and time on building a Kingdom underground I guess because the same thing applies.

That looks cool but not sure what you are trying to show, I did initially want to start my Kingdom underground but I asked jorb about this and he confirmed it works the same as village claims. Only above to below and not the other way.

If your kingdom spreads from l5 to upper-level - then what is the difference which direction it was created (from upper to bottom or vise versa)? If you want to create just l5 kingdom - it won't be viable anyway - no food/wood source..

Just saying underground kingdoms can/should be a viable thing, but should be limited to being underground, as they are right now.

Emm, are you sure you were saying that?
'Cause, I assume you've posted an Entrance to Morria from Tolkien's sagas? And it is situated under the sky on ground level...
