Hearthing to a friend

I am unsure but i doubt this isn't a spam post. I re-loaded the game after some time. I can only find posts from the initial release.
Can we hearth to friends like in legacy?

You can build a wilderness beacon with clay, boards, blocks and stone which acts like a 1-use charterstone. Your friend can spawn a character in that way.

No, it's not possible, as people were using to spam alts. You can, however, build a wilderness beacon as Shadow said, which allows your friends to spawn on you the same way they did in legacy. Build it, right-click it, enter a password, then have your friend right-click the pole with a skull on it in the character creation room and input the password you gave the wilderness beacon. After he does that, all he needs to do is right-click the fire and he'll spawn at the wilderness beacon.
