How to build wilderness beacon?

How do I build a wilderness beacon? I get it, I know the supplies I need, which is all anyone ever posts in response to this question. I also get that I need carpentry, which I have. However, I cannot find the option to build a wilderness beacon. Please don't post a link directing me to the wilderness beacon page that doesn't tell me anything. Tell me how to get to the interface to build it. Thank you

The wiki shows keyboard shortcuts for every craft-able item at the very top.

Us wiki people... we think of everything (or at least try to). I take no credit for this one. It's been a standard in game wikis for as long as I've been using them, and was always typical in game manuals back when they were paperback novel sized. They may be easy to overlook. If so, suggestions of how to make them better are welcome in the wiki discussion thread.

For some reason, the option still doesn't appear and I have all the necessary skills. Am I missing something?

Having the items and having the items discovered are 2 different things. If you did not get the items yourself you cannot craft it.

Clay did you dig it out of the shallows yourself?
Stone did you chip it or mine it yourself?
Board did you use a saw and cut it from a log yourself?
Block of Wood did you use an axe and chop it from a tree yourself?

If you answered no to any of these you have not discovered the item and need to do so by following the steps I mentioned.

This is the only logical step left as to why you can't craft one. It is not bugged at this point in time. Before posting I had an alt discover the items/get carpentry and they can make one. Also discovery is the key issue for anyone not being able to build something so most of us will point you to a wiki so that you can see what you haven't discovered yet.

Proper discovery is the answer in nearly all situations*. If it's bugged, there are a dozen threads of complaints in the Bugs section.

*Missing skills is the other common issue.
