Question about combat

Postby sakroit » Fri Oct 07, 2016 11:58 am

Whenever I try to fight something and press sidestep or any manuever nothing more then my character stopping dead in his tracks happens and I have no clue what I should do.
Even ants can rek me at 20 uac and 40 agi since I cant block.

Do I need to be empty handed to attack or am I missing something?

Yeah, I can punch and use Left hook but nothing else, currently looking for ants to make a gif.

I also found out that when I get attacked and get dizzyness stacked I can use sidestep, but not increase my defense.

Heres the GIF, really bad quality and way too large, but its here.

if i understand you correctly, you're trying to put up a block in order to approach an ant without taking damage.
However, that's no longer how it works, combat was reworked and you now activate old block moves to reduce openings, created by attacks.

Pressing a Restoration move without any openings will yield zero results, as they are used to reduce openings that are already dealt to your character.

Alright, cheers!

Just found a good training spot on a hill to learn. :D

Is there any up to date combat guide?
