Mammoth hunting with new combat system

Hi all!
I recently tried again to fight a mammoth after the combat update. Before they were rather easy, honestly, and I know they have been greatly buffed up.
I was wondering, has anybody been able to kill one solo? Does anybody have any recommendation on stats, moves, strategies to use?
With my rather shitty char (240 melee, 180 agi) it seems to be able to penetrate my defenses in just a matter of a few hits.

How to kill mammoth with almost any stats(obviously high enough to do some dmg and not get one-shot) : make your friend run around on horse on 3rd speed while you chop/punch the mammoth couple of times, then opp knock it to 100% green opening and continue chopping it. Make sure your friend doesn't make the mammoth clip himself on any obstacles and if he does and changes aggro to you, you change roles with your friend, you run around and he chops/opp knocks.

Your way is pretty legit and i was using it before, but has two problems:
a. you need a partner
b. some mammoths are ludicrously fast and there's no easy way to test it's speed. Which usually means a KO for both hunters, unless you hop into a cave.

My method is for solo use and doesnt depend on mammoth speed.

Tbh I think that any1 who has over 100ish stats can solo mammoths easily xD And im pretty sure a noob with less than 100 ua or meele couldn't use your method cuz they'd get rekt by the mammoth, unless its some bug abuse that doesn't include fighting the mammoth at all.
