yes it does increase hunger, and no clue how much

Never saw its reduction.
You will just see color playing as LSD, dont forget to turn on weather effects on your client.

yes it does increase hunger, and no clue how much

it reduces hunger based on the quality of it and the amount of the buff, so it's tricky to calculate it exactly since you also have other hunger factors like symbel and satiatation. but the math checks out, it definitely reduced hunger gain while eating.
