Honestly. I used to play back in the day, but quit after the Curiosity system change, but now that Hafen is out I decided to give it one more shot, it's just that... I can't find a reason to play for more than 5 minutes at a time.
At first I thought the EXP pop ups when I was finding new things were a reason to keep exploring, but I kind of ran out of things to find after maybe 15-20 minutes, even after finding an abandoned town and "discovering" all of the things in it for the first time for exp.
But now, after less than 24 hours of playing the game again, there's just.. no reason to actually play. At this point, I can't kill anything so there's no reason to try to hunt, I can't craft most things still (Or even craft the prerequisites for most things), I can't speed up the gain of LP, I can't even cook foods to start getting certain stats I want. I just... Can't do anything.
So I've ALREADY started just logging in every few hours so my curiosities refresh, then immediately logging out because there's no reason to run around.
Am I missing something? Does somebody have some insight into what exactly you're supposed to do while you're studying curiosities which you are required to do in order to get the LP required to learn the skills which are required to make the items required to have fun? Am I doing it wrong or something?
