Regarding curios and boosted intelligence...

If I wear an occult ring that gives me around 20 intelligence and then completely fill up all of my attention, what happens to the curio under the boosted intelligence's attention gain if I were to remove the ring? I was thinking it might be a waste to bother with occult rings except during periods of off-time if the curio completely cancels itself out when the ring is removed.

The curios stay there. They are nice to have around just pop them on fill your study and then put your normal rings back on.

Nope, the study timers do not reset. Everything keeps studying like normal! Yes they are a great help especially when you get into higher intelligence cost ,higher yield, curiositys.
