Alt question

I made an alt on the same account as my main. My main accepted the alt into his claim. When my main created a village, the alt has all access to the personal claim but cannot access anything outside the personal claim covered by the village.

Is there a way to accept an alt on the same account into your village?

Not really. If it's on the same account, you can't switch between both of the characters and have the accepted menu pop up. My suggestion is to make a character on a separate account and give it rights to invite to realm/village claim. You can do that by creating a wilderness beacon and having a character spawn. Go to your kin list on the law speaker of the village/realm and set a particular color to invite to the realm/village. Set the freshly made character the color you did to invite. Switch character on your main and just invite yourself.

If you close out your client "X" without logging off, then login quickly enough your first character might still persist in the world for that purpose. I know that's how I made my alts keys in Salem.

Thanks Julian, that worked. I am curious though, how does that affect authority of the village if I don't use the other accounts alt much? Also I noticed that my same account alt, even though he has village privileges, still has flags noting he's a visitor?

Village authority is only drained based on size of the village or when the lawspeaker takes specific actions that require authority. You can have all the inactive alts you want with no penalties.

Active alts, or at least ones you're actively keeping curios rotating on, will contribute to the authority making it easier to maintain a larger village.

If the alt is a village member, it can pick up the flag on a personal claim. If the alt had the flag, try leaving and coming back to clear the flag. I'm not sure if inviting will clear the flag.
