How do I calculate the resulting quality of bone ash?

1. x = (Kiln + fuel) / 2
2. (Bones + x) / 2 = ash

Is the quality calculation displayed on the wiki for bone clay still correct?

It's the average quality of the materials used now, or rather add up the total of the qualities for the ash, feldspar and cave/pit clay and divide by 3.
