Custom client for Legacy HnH

I've just bought account verification, because i want to play my g'old HnH.
And i am completly green when it comes to "coding" i read about, when people wanted to play legacy with custom client.
Can someone capable tell me step by step what am i supposed to do to play my sweet nostalgic game?

You can live without this unless you're living in a cave. (The lack of long term light solutions is just a huge annoyance.) What I would miss is hiding objects or camera rotation so you can easily see behind things. With as few playing on the legacy server as there is, I'd hate to find a boar hiding behind a spruce with an unprepared character.

I thought someone had posted a modded client somewhere that was ready to go, but I can't seem to find the download link.
