Bunnies vs Chicks

Any reason I would want to choose a rabbit hutch vs just doing a chicken coop? Is it faster? is it just for the starting leather help and then negligible in its difference?

Bunnies are mostly for the larpers. Chicken q is much faster to raise and they provide feathers and eggs too. Hunting is a much better source of high q leather.

I knew about hunting being better I just wasn't sure if I was missing somthing regarding the point of the hucthes vs just doing chickens like I normally would

I see it as a low-priority supplement. Optional, but no reason not to add a hutch if you've already got a decent rhythm going with chicken raising and hunting for food/leather. The rabbits will just provide a little extra hide or meat every now and then.

bunnies r useless cause other tamed animals can grow in quality faster providing u with more skins and bones of higher quality, and rabbit meat is only for psy sausage and psy isnt a stat which u really need to be high (200 will surely be enough for everything, so with mussels u will easily get that much), chickens provide u with feathers and eggs so its better to farm em than bunnies

Bunnies will be useful next world (let the wipe be as far of into the future as possible, this world is nice) as you can catch them at q 50+ (with some luck) and every other animal starts at q 10. Now with chickens being at 100+ q theres next to no reason to raise them.

what Myrgard said plus think about the fact you can start off with a viable leather source early game. remember you are only limited on rabbit resources by the number of hutches you have.

currently we have A LOT OF coops and 2 hutches. if village couldn't hunt/tame for leather industry then they were planning to make like a high ratio of hutches/coops each(prolly round 20+). but as of now the hutches are kind of obsolete for us since they got a guy who can hunt/tame (me)
