Horses

Postby jfw3661 » Fri Dec 23, 2016 1:30 pm

I never really thought about taming horses. I have seen tons of posts about taming sheep, cows, even pigs.
I caught one for the heck of it and beat it into submission once.
I am curious about the benefits of taming a horse, besides the meat and skin.

They're better than wild horses in every way, and can be bred to be even better.

As well as a stamina increase with better breeding they can also pull wagons and carts and be equipped with saddlebags to give you more inventory space.

All baby animals can be slaughtered for suckling maws which you will need to make rennet for cheese production and for goldbeaters skin for jewellery.

The main benefit wasnt stated here: tamed horses regenerate their pony power, meaning you can use a single horse potentially forever, instead of being in need of constant supply of new wildhorses.
