How do I light a fireplace?

Postby GageKK » Wed Dec 28, 2016 2:01 am

So I'm relatively new to the game, I've been progressing pretty well so far but whenever I attempt to use a fireplace I can't fuel it. I've read that you're supposed to shift click branches or blocks into it but everytime I try to do that I get nothing. I can't pick up the blocks and place them in there either. Does anybody know why this is happening? (I can light a regular fire. This problem occurs with a fireplace.)

The only way to make sense of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Menu in lower right of screen

Adventure --> Light Fire

Press that button while holding two branches in your inventory.
As soon as it lights right click it onto what you want to light. Takes about half your stamina so make sure you have enough.

I've given that a shot and nothing happens. I'm pretty sure I have to have fuel in there, which I haven't been able to put in there.

You need to have sticks and energy to do it. You also need the fuel in whatever you want to light. ;)

By sticks you mean branches?

You simply need to find the right spot where to right click fuel in the fireplace. Click on the stones.
