Perc food

Whats some good early game perc foods? what do you go for as soon as you start?

I'll usually go fishing Plaice using bloated leeches.

Berries will work but fills hunger too fast to be great.
Perch has a chance to give fish eye when butchered.
Bloated Bolete when you can see them is alright not great but better.
And thats about it. But with a test character I got to 20 perc in about an hour without boosts so if you manage it right you can do alright.

I believe the 0.1 PER you get from elderberries is kind of negligible, I would rather eat seaberries, which use up less hunger (1.5% vs 1%) and are very easy to find around beaches.

boiled morels are pretty good.

morels are and arent an early game FEP item to me. Per*Exp 154 to see them means your gonna need a good deal of perc and or exp to see them and then you need a clay cauldron too. Next world Im not getting pottery until I have found where my base is going to be. Call it stupid but its my plan.

I tried fishing, i get all kinds of intelligence but not much perc.
Im worried what im gonna do next world! Deers are too hard to kill early and forageables are trash. i could just fish for a long time until i get alot of perc fish i guess.
