Trade hubs (are they still a thing?)

Postby ninja_yodeler » Thu Jan 05, 2017 12:41 pm

Question in the topic, but basically: Are they still viable ways to gather and trade etc. Like the Dis Market of W6, because those were some real good times. Do game and trade mechanics still sort of encourage that? or at least not make it a painful enterprise to undertake on a scale larger than just your local area?

In world 9 there were many trade hubs. Sevilla was most popular one. You would visit the charter stone at sevilla with your alt and then travel to sevilla from your village by teleporting to that charter.
So I'd say that trade mechanics indeed encourage players to trade a bit. Most of trading was done via sevilla, as it was near center of map and already one of the most popular ones.
Im pretty sure there will be at least one popular trade hub in world 10 too.

In sevilla there were barter stands that you could get if you asked. Also many people did just regular trading there.

Could be cool to see a hub on w10 where you can pay to use some high q facilities to craft stuff. for example make few pockets with owen, kiln and stuff like that with a decent q materials, could be profitable later on when a lot of people come back to the game and try to catch up with others.

Sevilla market had stuff like that, though for free. Kinda hard to sell.

Hopefully LadyGoo (or whoever is top dog in W10) does the same in W10. It's quite nice until you get your own stuff. I never used it, but yeah. Saw tons using the spots.

Removed the derail. If you guys have issues with each other, keep it in The Moot or PMs. Don't derail useful threads with it.

And if there's a derail, use the report feature. Let the moderators deal with it, don't make it a bigger problem.
