Unless you want to be hamstringed doing quests, use the standard cam as others have said.

It's not objectively bad, just different. I use it because, to click far, I don't have to zoom way out, I can just pan down, therefore being able to see my beautiful character and click far at the same time. Also feels crippling not being able to control the angle of the camera

Also if you pan down you can kinda see how far the quest is by how high it is above the ground

I see 0 point in using standard camera unless you like the fancy smooth panning

Yes, it is. Your quest directions aren't accurate (or downright broken) in bad cam. It's objectively worse because a pretty important functionality doesn't work as intended.

The fact alone you need to go out of your way to fix a problem with the mode is my point. It's objectively worse than not having to do that at all.

Granger is literally the forum retard, I doubt he even plays the game, the quests work just fine with cam bad (I know because that's all I did for like 15 hours since the world started, using the trick mentioned in THIS THREAD)

I don't have to believe everything I read if what I experimented proves it to be false

If it's possible to do quests correctly with cam bad and there are features desireable to some that aren't in the standard camera then no, it's not objectively bad smh
