Can I spawn on my old claim?

Today a bear knocked me out in the swamp. So I kept getting up and then getting down again because of the leeches, until I finally died. It was kinda funny, actually.

Now, to my question: if I burn in the fire after inheriting my character, will I spawn on my ancestor's claim? Because all of my friends are sleeping right now and I really need my gear.

When inheriting you'll spawn on your old fire and any claim that belonged to your ancestor will belong to the new character.

BUT: You'll have to go to each claim stake and get a new Bond of Blood & Soil, or the claims will run out of authority.

I just checked out and the claim is up, meaning the cooldown doesn't reset.
