What do the 'dens' classify as?

Postby Eggy57 » Mon Jan 09, 2017 5:02 am

As the title says "What do the 'dens' classify as?"
You can make cupboards in them, thus leading me to think that they classify as houses (at least for that)
Would this also mean that cheese will follow that path or another?

I didn't know the best place to put this

Furthermore, what are the "dens, lairs, burrows, etc" actually called?
Total misplay.

I couldn't build a drying rack inside, not sure if i was just misplacing it. If so, they would be in a different category than caves (probably houses)

Gotta be houses
  • No fireplaces
  • No drying racks
  • Cupboards are good
  • loads up and displays like a house more than a cave

a proper house takes no time at all to erect, though, so I have a hard time seeing where the advantage lies

Didn't realize you could build cupboards inside of them. This is useful for cave hermits, who otherwise would need to build a house in order to build cupboards. (Not that it's relevant for me anymore though, I already built a house now.)

Speculation that I have heard:

-They behave like houses because they use copy-pasted house code.
-If seasons are implemented, bears will hibernate in them (both seasons and this sound bit unlikely to me)
-They bear some resemblance to Hobbit-holes.

They could be useful as temporary bases, I guess. A little hobbit hole attracts a lot less attention than a huge walled off base.

And they aren't visible on the map (yet?) which makes them better for hiding than regular houses.
Too old to rock-n-roll, too young to die.
