Claimed land and underground

I've been reading foroms and seems that only can be made underground structures with village claims but no with personal claims.
So....No way to build underground in a personal claim?...Maybe claiming a land where is a cave?

You can place personal claims underground. It's simply a separate claim.

If you're talking about building a minehole, you can do it anywhere as long as there's no occupied space below (like some building underground). You can build anything underground that you can above ground, you can't create farms or plant trees(except for the new witherthingys?)
