Stone vs bone arrow

Which does more damage? Wiki says stone but that just doesn't make sense to me, why would the more common item do more damage

Bone. Stone has a base damage of 80, while Bone has a base of 100. Metal Arrows (while probably not accessible atm to most) are the strongest.
