Upgraded to verified account and now i cant play

So I just decided not to be a loafer and actually pay for a game i have enjoyed from time to time over the years and now that i try to log into the game its all messed up.
I just barely managed to get some new curis loaded up in my head and then the game just wont even let me back in it just freezes.
Do any of you know wtf is going on?

I play with vanilla client.

Without some information such as kind of computer and parts you're using, version of Java, and possibly other things, no, we can't do much to help. Could be a driver problem, could be a network issue, could be wrong version of Java. It's hard to say.

It worked just fine before i upgraded, so none of those factors should matter.

i am having the exact same problem as you and the onset appears to be at almost the same time
