Trees/shrooms in caves

Postby MagicManICT » Tue Jan 17, 2017 10:54 pm

So if trees respawning products is tied to the decay mechanic, how do the mushrooms and trees/shrubs (or whatever they are) that grow in caves resupply? Do they? I haven't seen one do so yet, but it's only week two of the world.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I think stalagmites respawn in cave, yes? Maybe tree and mushroom will just respawn entire new one, but will never regrow product. Otherwise build a seedbank before it is too late!

Maybe replanting them is the only option.

Most of my time since the reset has been spent in a small number of caves, and I haven't seen any of these refill or respawn. Completely anecdotal, but that's my suspicion so far.

Um...as far as I know, plant growth also works with decay hits. In other words, with no decay in caves, plants will not grow either (assuming they use the same mechanics).

EDIT: Wait, is it possible to plant Poppycaps and Withercorns outside?
