I haven't seen a written one yet, but someone made a slide with different things marked and what to expect. I don't recall where I saw it. I'll link it if I find it or if someone else doesn't find it first.

It's not really a lot different from last version of combat (w8, 9). The big changes are each of the four colors have a defensive value from 0 to 100. They start of low (10 or 20, forget off top of my head). You make an attack. It deals damage and creates a bit more of an opening. As the opening grows, damage grows. Defenses reduce openings. There are stances that increase defense, IP generated, cooldowns, or other effects (this is similar to legacy combat maneuvers--Oak Stance, Shield Up, etc.) Red attacks deal no damage, but create bigger openings, things like Opportunity Knocks. There are a few "miscellaneous" abilities that just do something like generate IP (Take Aim for example).

The values are in the descriptions in game. Note that if an attack creates a 10% opening, and the opening is at 50%, it will only increase to opening to 55% (10% of the value remaining to remove.) Conversely for defenses.

Hope that's helpful.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
