How far does it take to get other type of WWW?

I know that wild windsown weeds from same region turn into same crop seeds. But how far do I have to go to get other crop seeds? Are there any information? Will 10 grid be enough?

As far as I know, there are no exact calculations shared on that matter. Your best bet would be to travel in one direction for some time, picking WWW's every few minimaps.
You could also use the recently added whirlpools to travel to different parts of the map, but it's a risk I wouldn't take with my main character (you can drown while using them, there are few whirpools in the world and they might be watched by pvp'ers, &c)

Nobody knows for sure. It's more than a few minimaps, though, maybe map or region map size is closer to accurate. (See legacy cartography information for how maps were sectioned up and how the terminology came around.)
