How do pclaim shields work?

Seriously i had a claim up on like day two or three but the claim shield won't go beyond 30,000. I just logged on and it's down to 20,000. Does it go down when you expand? Because i DID do a ton of expanding. But how long does it take for it to regen?

The shield regenerates 300HP each hour.

You can find out the status of a claim's shield by inspecting the ground.

Newly established Personal Claims begin without shield, and have to charge it up. Also note that expanding a claim will reduce it's shield proportionally to the increase in size of the claim.
