The poor man's gloves protects you from getting quill'd when picking up or otherwise interacting with a hedgehog right?

When I pick it up with glove I still become quilled. Maybe it is partial protecting. I now just kill hedgehog with combat instead of pick it up direct.

Gloves reduce the chance to get quilled based on quality....
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

I find hedgehogs to be pretty slow so its easy to punch them to death.

Yeah, there's no point in not just punching them to death. Take no damage and less messing around in your inventory.

I've chased a couple today that weren't as fast as a rabbit, but still required a slight chase..
