New wound "Black-Eyed" - when does it go away?

Postby BBlaze » Fri Jan 27, 2017 5:25 am

Like the title says: How do I get Black-Eyed to go away? It's giving me a -5 PER debuff which is absolutely crippling to my new character. I went from a PER*Exploration of 196 to 90 coupled with my concussion (which goes away automatically and can be treated).

Well I would, but you need a PER*Exploration of 1250 to find the Blood Stern for the mud ointment. I'm far away from reaching that, especially now that my PER is reduced by 5. I guess I'm SOL.

We should be able to apply a steak to the black eye. Or a cold compress.

What would you do with bone glue and ropes to a black eye wound? just curious

There are many options! But I am sure if there is a remedy for black eye it has to contain bone glue and ropes. maybe hardened leather also.

I thought that leeches would be able to reduce a "black-eyed" wound, since they would suck out the blood and reduce the swelling.
