Bring Item To Quest Giver?

Postby Deceits » Sat Jan 28, 2017 9:55 pm

I have a quest task to give an item to a quest giver - I arrived at the quest giver, and have no greet or give option - I've tried dropping the item on the ground etc, no luck. Am I missing something?

Ah figured it out - for any one else wondering how;

Take item out of inventory and right click the quest giver to receive the deliver button.

This is how you interact any two items together in the environment--collect water from an open source or well, light a fire with a burning ember, torch, or other tool, etc. Be sure not to "left click" when holding an object as that will drop it, which is bad when you're standing in water. Unless you want to actually drop it, of course.

Glad you figured it out on your own. We're working on a list of all the commands on the Wiki. Most are still the same from the last major version, but there have been a few additions and removals. The old list of commands and shortcuts: http://ringofbrodgar.com/w/index.php?ti ... edirect=no

Did I say Ever Glowing Ember? I said "burning ember" since the "light fire" craft doesn't have an actual name. I suppose I could have called it a tinder drill, but the tinder drill broke. ¦]

Thanks. I forgot that since you only see the name when it burns out. I haven't had one burn out in a long time. Wait... I haven't made one since they implemented other ways of starting fires. Who bothers rubbing two sticks together anymore? :P
