Questions about new world

Are there remnants of the old one? seen a lot of broken down buildings, random klins and forges about with other decayed stuff laying about. Were they of the old world? I dont think they are recent, even if they were left behind in a raid or abandoned early this month, is the decay factor that aggresive that in a month it can break down a small village?.


Dead animals everywhere, is it coincidense or the rapture is happening? I for one, approve of this, since im just getting started and manage to get all that free meat and leather just laying on the ground.

Decay is largely random, and only applied whenever the area is visited.

So a abandoned village in a populated area will decay a lot faster than some random place in the middle of nowhere.

Combat discovery mechanics require grinding many animal to discover skill for combat.

Old Worlds get completly wiped (Data deleted from server) - and a new map is getting generated - so no remnants of them in new World

In the first weeks ppl settle somewhere and build stuff - sometimes they just stop playing, sometimes they just move or team up with friends somewhere else or sometimes they get chased away ...
