I noticed this last world, I don't think that they're fated anymore. They were like a regular foragable curio for me.

Same here. They might just tweaked it a bit so they occur more frequently.

works the same with flot and bluebells...
it feels like there is a "rare curio day"
might be just confirmation bias but everyone I talked to this theory agree.

yeah, i got three chiming bluebells in 24 hours 2 weeks ago and then only one since, and back near the beginning of the world i got half a dozen flotsams and only one since
