Compost bin / Earthworms effect

So i read on the wiki that earthworms speed up the mulch production, is there a ratio to how many earthworms i should use?
Also, if i use an earthworm of lower quality then the mulch, will it effect the mulch quality?

I don't believe worms affect the quality. I usually just leave my bottom two rows empty and fill the rest with worms.

i tested if earthworms help produce more multch and they do not sadly the wiki is wrong.

xD I can verify that they DO speed up the production of mulch, but they do not affect the quantity of mulch. It takes a lot of worms though for it to be a real noticeable difference. In my case if I want mulch real fast and I'm going to be on for awhile I'll fill all but the very last row with worms, otherwise I leave the bottom row and like 3 spaces empty for the mulch.

Worm quality does not affect the quality of the mulch in any way, so don't worry about that.

i put 4 earthworms in one compost bin and 2 in the other.. i came back today almost 24 hs and they both have 13..

Perhaps do the same test with 0 worms and # worms. Maybe you only need one worm for a difference?

Worms decrease time exponentially by how many worms are added- if there are no worms a bit of mulch takes 4 rl hours- I think it's something like 10 minimum to see a significant speed increase in production.
