What to do with troll?

Let's say a troll spawned inside my mine lv1-3, I have no archer and I'm a hermit I can tank a bear but for sure I can't beat a troll, what should I do?
Let's say I made an archer, what should I do? Thanks

Combat tactics if possible. I even accept exploits...

if you just want it gone you can spam archer alts at it, it will ruin the quality of the troll materials however.

Build a Roundpole Fence around it, then put a food trough with straw in it close to the troll. Then see what happens.
