I managed to get in through that very exit but I can't manage to also get out. Tried sprinting into the corner and right clicking the exit to no avail.
Got 23 HHP left with two bats greedily watching me from 10m away so I can't look for another exit. Fresh character, my only HF is very very far away from here (3 hours of sailing away to be honest) - I really don't want to go back.

That's an unfortunate event. Looks like it got caved in at some point and it blocked the tile. You either have to get past the bats and find another opening or accept fate and teleport back to your hearthfire.

um i think u can mine the wall thats blocking the entrance or just wait for bats to despawn or just kys if its new character

Alright but isn't this technically a bug? What sense would it make to be able to get in but not also get out through the very same exit? If it was fully covered I'd maybe understand but it's right there in the damn corner.

I can't mine and I can't venture further in either, I'm butt-naked with 23 HHP and no heal items on me - that'd be suicide.

I wasted 5 hours of an off day + 5 hours of a friend's to get all the way there - a combined 10 hours wasted.
I'd rather just quit altogether than do it again. Least I'd like to get out of this is get a confirmation of whether this is a bug and a promise that it will be fixed some day.

You can wait (might have to log out) for 15 minutes or so for the bat spawns to reset and look for another entrance. Their aggro range is also smaller if you move at crawl speed, IIRC.

umm just make your friend build you a wilderness beacon and spawn there again

It's not a bug, someone caved in the exit.

Log out and come back in a bit (15-30 min) and the bats may despawn. Also bats wont kill you right off the bat even with low HHP there is a good chance they will just KO you and not kill you.
