No more quests?

So how does questing acctually work? At the beginning i got tons of quest around my base, now i get none. It was more then 4 days since i got a quest. And i am not inclined to use "commune" as the questgivers i get is like 2 hours horseride away.

Have i done too many quests around my area, or is there some way i can influence the game to give me more quests close to me? Also all the questgivers are alive, so it's not that they died.

Don't be so picky. I live on the edge of the world, so only have about half the area for quests to spawn in. If you want to keep doing the quests, you have to bite the bullet and do some walking. Vision quests require effort.

In the mean time, you're just going to have to wait for a new quest. It could be several days, and the move developed your character, the longer it takes.

Yeah i suppose, walking for 1-2 hours is not FUN gameplay though.

Use a boat, swim... you can cross most rivers with 40 CON. There's a few that are a bit wide even at 40. I'd have to count my completed quests, but I'm getting a lot of them back to the same spirit after doing a few more.

Well the means of transportation is no problem, i use a horse with a raft inside a boat, so it's easy to travel. What is not fun is travelling 1 hour to a questgiver, that sends you away to another questgiver to greet another hour away, making it a 2 hour journey for one quest giving less then 10.000 LP, that is of course the mechanics as they are today, but i hope jorb perhaps would consider making quests abit more interesting...how someone might ask though, i do not know.
