Trying to get rid of a claim

Postby Belliaum » Fri Feb 17, 2017 1:18 pm

I am currently trying to get rid of what appears to be an inactive personal claim that is stopping me from further expansion.

I have vandalism and did destroy a roadsign on the claim but I cant attack the claimstake itself.
When I click it my char walks up to it and then does nothing.

What am I doing wrong here?

You'll need a siege engine, or you'll have to wait until the claim lost authority.

OK thanks

How can I tell when it lost all authority?

When you can walk on it without criminal act.

My guess is that it is an active claim with full white permissions used to make sure a natural resource remains publicly available. Thats why you can do everything on it except destroying the claim itself.

That is incorrect. A while back I needed to activate criminal acts to walk onto it but now I dont have to. It might have had its permissions changed but I doubt it.

I am considering reporting it as bugged.

Thanks for your input.

No need.

Can just be fluxuating authority.

If it was down before then you can do all.. including bash.. if owner studies 1 thing or kills one animal the claim already has auth again meaning you need permissions or are performing criminal acts..

Well what i dont get is why i can walk all over it but i cant remove the damn claim stake itself. Might have to use a battering ram for that part maybe.

A wrecking ball is cheaper (but you need to wait 22 hours).

Maybe you do not have enough strength?

That could be the problem but shouldn't I get some kind of message telling me i am weak and pathetic?

All that happens when I click destroy is I move up to the claim itself and then nothing, the char just stands there looking extra stupid.
