Chicks not Growing?

Not sure this belongs in Bugs, but it's been a long time for some of them (wiki says 3 ingame days for chicks to mature but for many of my chicks it's been more than three real life days).
Coop is fully watered and contains over 100 units of food, and I left space for the 1x1 chicks to turn into 2x2 adult chickens in such a way that worked last world; do I need a hen in the coop now? Has the maturation time changed? What the fuck?

Nah, be patient and keep rotating chicks into the coop as they hatch. It takes some time, I think anywhere between 3-5 RL days (I've never paid close attention)

This. I move all my baby chicks into their own coop. It takes a few days before they grow to adults. Definitely not 3 in game days. ;o

I guess I didn't make it clear, despite asking if I needed a hen in my coop and stating that each chick had a 2x2 space to mature...of course I have chicks in their own coop.
That said, one just grew up today, so yes 5 days seems much more accurate. I'm just glad they'll ever hatch, my chick coop was nearly full. I'm off to the wiki now to change the chick page.
