Trying out the new world/mechanics after a long absence

1. I accidentially clicked abandon quest on a new character (there was no prmopt) is there anyway to retreive the Quest?

2. How do i delete a character? Lets say if I wanna go through the newbiew tutorial/quests that are abandoned?

3. Where or what Martdor? Something popped up saying to go to there but I havent the foggiest, thanks

1. I do not think there is a way to retreive a quest.
2. Kill him by swimming in a river you need a bit of lp to get it tho
3. Martdor is a quest giver he is either a rock or a tree and if you complete quests you get rewards.

1. No, not that I am aware of.

2. Kill yourself (drowning, wild animals and arguing with some of my neighbours are all effective ways of doing this). Or just make a new character, you don't need to kill the first one to do that.

3. Martdor is a tree (or possibly a rock, but in this case I think a tree, specifically a tree somewhere near -100,20 on the world map). Go say hi, you'll get ... something. Probably a tiny bit of xp and another quest. There is an arrow somewhere on the edge of your screen, follow it to Martdor.

If so, then it's a recent change. Character names have always been account unique and cannot be recycled due to the whole character inheritance thing.

TBH, the new player quests are decent walkthroughs for people who have never played H&H hearth before, but since you've had prior experience with Seatribe games (Hi, been a while), you shouldn't need it. The benefit is a decent sum of XP (about 1000 or so) you'll need to use curiosities and hearth magic, but in the grand scheme of things, it's a drop in the bucket.

Yeah I agree with you, it's either a curiosity to see the new system or me being anally retentive but I really wanna see what it's like.

I literally created a new character. Abandoned the quest and went to bed. No time lost on character delete. Thanks, guess I'll make him go for a lonng swim

You have to choose a new name, and then set up a presentation name in your Kin window. The presentation name can actually be any name, even the one that was already used.
