The exploit hunting Tutorial (to be fixed)

Warning Bad English And Dangerous knowledge

So, there is a lot of people asking how to hunt, and all the answers are "exploits".

At the start of the world hunting was good fun, but after you kill tons of animals it gets boring, I still kill most of them fair fight (not really since I do 3 hit kill) but Walrus still a pain in the ass since I'am an hermit and they group attack.
To make my grinding faster I decided to make a trap at the beach, and now I will teach newbies like me how to use it. I do not recommend it, but I hope it makes more clear why boulder hunting should be removed.
Again that's a trap for newbies to use, I know big villages already know this.

Material needed: 1 clover, boulders, 2 characters (1 can be an alt).

1 - Find a horse and feed it a clover (ignore if you have a tamed horse).

2 - Find your victim and aggro it.

3 - With your alt lift one cage boulder. With your character get inside the safe box as faster as possible.

Image

4- If the animal is inside, lock it, If it is not, put your foot at the cage and then get inside the safe again (that way, making it go to you last known available position).

Image

5 - At this stage use the combat moves you have. You will need to raise your victim opening and make sure your personal opening is under 20% (Armor can help).

Image

6- With a good opening, hit it until it is dead. Since it is locked, with the new flee system, it will keep aggro-ed at you not moving at all.

Using take aim to stack coin, dash to remove your openings and opportunity knock to raise the opening it will be a lot easier, but it is not needed.

Things You Should Know To Use This Trap

1 - Take care, bears can aggro horses (if you are using tamed horse).
2 - Mouflons, foxes, badgers and those kind of animals are too small, they can get trough the boulder gaps. You may be able to use tighter boulder gaps and hf to trap them, but they are not worth it.
3 - Mammoths have ranged attack so I suppose it don't work with them (Also Trolls).
4 - Walrus have a rare ranged attack (pretty weak tbh), make sure your opening is bellow 20%.
5 - Make sure to use shift click (amber client) to place to boulder right in the center, so animals can't get trough the gaps.
6 - If you have more than one animal in the trap, make sure they are not in a row, animals can break corpses.
7 - If there is just one animal inside, but there is more outside, make sure to not get too close to the "walls".

I'm not responsible by your mistakes. ;)
If it is cool, fun, right, wrong, that's all about you.
Sry about pictures with grids, just noticed at the end.
I hope you don't enjoy it. :D
