jewelry qualities

does anyone have an understanding of how exactly jewelry quality calculations work? i've noticed that anything involving a goldbeater's skin to date has been a higher quality than the skin by a noticeable margin, even if the goldbeater's skin is the only non-precious metal component. i've tried a few basic formulas to factor in potential stuff like the anvil/smithy's hammer but i haven't managed to figure it out yet

i was under the impression that stats only affected softcapping but perhaps this is not the case

Precious metals have no q, so they are not calculated in formulas.
If you have only 2 component craft, for example ring, quality will equal skin quality.
But you need anvil & hammer, what's mean final qauality will be caltucated with average quality with anvil and hammer.

q10 goldbeater skin, q70 anvil&hammer will make q40 ring.
Rings of brodgars will have less quality from pearls, and occults ring will have more, because of hight q coal.
