Do the tree quests ever end?

They sorta keep on piling up, just sending me running around doing Fed-Ex quests, I was gonna settle someplace far away but all this quests are just here in this lil region.

Any advice?

I'm also guessing that if the tree you are trying to get to is just a stone with nothing else there it means someone chopped it down yeah?

More bonus questions!

What are the quietest place to settle a small hermitage? Trying to stay ideally away from the gankers

No, quests are endless chains of doing stuff. You can always just abbandon quests that you are sure you won't do, and wait for automatic quest that should appear when you don't have any.

To be honest, the second question is rather tricky. Right now the most dangerous area will shift to north-west side of the map, so the opposite one, south-east courner should be rather safe.

It can be a tree or a stone.

As far as locations to settle, there's a few places that are quiet. I can probably tell you easier where not to go. The E and SE seem to be pretty noisy. There's a group of griefers in the area several people are hunting down, and seems Dis is staking their claim there. (Whether you think that's good or bad is up to you.) I don't think AD is too far off. Other than that, there hasn't been any problems reported elsewhere so far.

Most of the stronger factions are in the southern part of the map, if you settle in Dis realm they will force you to get oathed or kill you, if you settle in Hedgehugs Dis will kill you for settling there. Northern part of the map has a group with a vault called Fags Island that apparently kills people randomly so that shouldn't be too safe either. I'd settle somewhere in the middle north where basically nobody plays
