Scents, and summoning.

Postby Bowlin12 » Wed Feb 22, 2017 11:12 pm

I've read the wiki and it seems there is the ability to summon players when they offline if you commit theft or above and they have your scent. Is this information up to date? And is there any way to prevent yourself from being summoned if you commit a crime?

New player here, not causing trouble but just want to know what kind of mechanics are in game.

no its been changed since, now when you do a crime your character will stay in game even after logging out for a certain amount of time

also using the scents you can send a nidbane on someone which is a scary ghost that will attack the player and if it will kill it,it will bring you his skull

their strenght scale with player stats and depending on the crime they did and also material ql.

For what i have read there is a time limit so if the player is VERY FAR the ghost wont make it

and the materials need for a nidbane are quite expensive

btw

how many time last the scent?

Summoning hasn't been a thing for approximately 18 months.

Yeah, there's a time limit... for the guy to log in and face the nidbane. The nidbane will always get there unless the fetter is removed from the dolmen. If the target doesn't log in after so long and deal with the nidbane, he's automatically killed no matter how minor the offense.
