unarmed for pvp?

why most choose unarmed for pvp?
Why then do we need weapons?

unarmed for openings (that increase with UA/MC) because it has better moves for openings

there is no need to increase MC for damage because damage does not increase with MC

or at least that's what I know

Most people go parry (melee combat) lately

You get more options to create openings reliably with UA.
As with MC you get limited options.

I actually love Flex since it removes Dizzy and Cornered and makes my opponent dizzy, and iirc has a pretty quick cooldown.
Total misplay.

You actually can do both UA and MC. But going only for MC will make you weaker on opening the opponent fast.

Its still good to have both UA and MC high for easy hunting.
