Boring Palisade Question

Postby uncleseano » Mon Feb 27, 2017 9:51 pm

When starting off a pali, should you build it behind your claim (as in back a tile or two from the border) or should you put it right on the border so as to not waste the claims space?

I know it's a daft question I just wanna make sure before I commit to this damn wall, lads have already started snooping around and I wanna get it thrown up fast

Oh and how important is the stone paving underneath?

Just make sure your whole pali is claimed and you'll be fine.

Might wanna leave a tile or two of space, though, otherwise some joker could build stuff in front of all your gates and trap you in

None
Only way I could imagine is that you could build one side of wall, finish it with another cornerpost and then destroy starter one... and pray it won't destroy entire wall
If you build wall fast enough it will be easy to destroy it on first hours

So complete the wall fully and then blast at the starter post and jopefully it'll go down? Gotcha

i will add a question to no create another topic

i have creater multiple layers of wall one close to the another

can i use the create gate in 3 to create a corner post and then in 2 again using the same corner post that i used for the 3 tiles corner post?

and then create a wall using the new corner posts?

i whant to create another few walls cause what i have behind me is a clif so i should take care from the front gates

i know that wont stop the enemy but at last delay my doom

As far as I know, the only thing that gets destroyed faster with a shovel is the tree stump, for all other things you might want to destroy, axe is better and pickaxe is even better.
