An explanation of how to block?

Postby bunnyfun4 » Thu Mar 02, 2017 12:54 am

From experience, i have generated a small amount of knowledge about this combat system. However, i cannot figure out how to block the attacks of an opponent. Would someone please explain?

You block all damage from your opponent when your openings for the color(s) of their attack are at 0%, and the damage attacks do scale upwards from there.

When you or anyone/anything else initiates a fight, all openings begin at 0. This will change very quickly if someone starts attacking (which they usually will)

whereas the last combat system was about building up defences and hoping they don't get knocked down, now it's about lowering your openings and hoping they don't get brought up.

say your punches have a weight of 100, that means you effectively do 100 damage to your opponent per hit. Now that damage is multiplied by the percentage of the wound opening that correspond to your punch, thus if your opponent have an opening of 0% you would be doing 100*0/100= 0. On the other hand,if your opponent have an opening of 100%, you would do 100*100/100 = 100 damage to your opponent
