Ok I am wandering allover picking up everything and got my exploration to 5 but have some questions.

1- What can I eat to get my energy all the way back up? It is 5360.

2- I picked up carpentry, foraging, lumberjacking , and hunting. What should ne my next skill set?

3- do new craftable items become available as you find new items?

4-Also I want to cut some trees down but i keep running low on stam i have a cup but the amount of water isnt replenishing enough stam to finish the job. What should I do?

You shouldn't eat everything you find. Satiations can be rather nasty. I suggest you ignore the "restore energy bar to the maximum" quest for now.

Frog legs that above poster mentioned are really good early game food, giving valuable Agility and Perception points. Agility is required to fight more effectively and Perception increases your ability to find forageables.

Before you can get farm going, pitbaked good are decent. Build oven if you can, even if it's q1 it will make better pitbaked goods than Fireplace and easier as well since you can load it with 4 branches and there won't be risk that you forget the stuff you're baking and end up with ash.

Rat on a stick is easier, I think as you only need to find one rat per. Both good choices. Downside is a new character doesn't need the PSY, and won't need it at all if they won't be doing any crafting.

If you can, catch rabbits, squirrels, and hedgehogs. Fishing as soon as you get it. A few entrails from these can get a few fish, along with bloated leeches, earthworms from digging, and any insects you can find.

Find a dried animal skin somewhere and use it to make a waterskin. Either make one yourself (can be difficult since you need to leave them out overnight to dry, and given you don't have a claim yet...) or one someone else has left hanging and unprotected. If you're a nicer person, you leave a fresh skin in place of the dried, maybe even better quality. If you're an ass, you just take it. :P

Cheap alternative is to carry bucket in the other hand when lumberjacking.
