How do you find your way back to your leanto?

Is there a way to find your way back to your little leanto/base afterwondering around?

by using travel to hearthfire, if your hearthfire is not at your base, there is an ingame map that you can use to try to retrace your steps

If you've made a hearthfire inside your camp you can travel to your hearthfire under the Adventure > Haven and Hearth menu. If you've never build a hearth fire, however, this will instead take you back to where you first spawned.

The assumption being that the lean-to is where the hearth fire is.... A player coming from Salem might not realize that a hearth fire is set when spawned into the world and that the lean-to is "home base" until something better is established.

This is a part of the "new player" quests you get that demos some basic information. If you skipped through it or forget any of it, I'd suggest making a throwaway character just to go through it again.
