Fireplaces

Postby babydluv81 » Sat Mar 04, 2017 3:26 pm

So I built a fireplace and put a piece of pitbaked good into it... I built both a fire and a fireplace but a spit never appeared. Shift clicking and right clicking etc hasn't worked for me. I finally figured out how to fuel it and get it going easily enough. I have the roasted meat recipe, but says I need the fire. I'm lost.
How am I supposed to cook this raw meat? What in the world am I missing? Please list steps I need....
Am i missing a craftable item?
If I leave the unbaked item in there, will it bake over time?

you need to have the fireplace window opened when cooking meat

the spitroast needs to be crafted as separate item and then put on fireplace

You need to discover a string and a block of wood

Here is the tip:
Taproot and Nettle are string substitutes. And you can get wood block by chopping logs, some bushes or by destroying stumps.
