What's the bare minimum to safely tame an animal?

Postby Entropoly » Thu Mar 09, 2017 3:56 am

So me and a group of friends have lived in relative secrecy and safety in some godawfully quiet corner of the map. We've done pretty much everything solo and are getting to the point where we want to start taming animals. Combat progress is relatively slow going, each of us having one alt dedicated to learning and doing combat. We've got metal armors and could get metal weapons, but even boars and badgers are rather dangerous to tangle with. What's the lowest safe amount of agility, armor, and strength to try and safety tame a couple cows and a couple sheep with? All of the guides reference old combat tactics and numbers, some of them saying that having 30 strength and 30 unarmed means you can go fight boars with nothing but leather armor, so I figure I should ask here instead of trying to look it up any further before I get one of our alts killed.

25UA, 20AGI for sheeps. 30/30 boars (with weapon best), 50/40 should be enough for horse and cows ("safety")
